Yep. like it a lot.
With that thread you even brought me to doing the same.
I already built two Aleph 4's , and going to add 6 Aleph 5's.
I posted on the Pass Monster thread a couple of weeks ago.
On the shelf are still 48 Mallory 78000uF caps, and 24 Amplimo 300VA toroids. (both acquired the economy way).
The BMM crossovers i am not going for, though built quite nice.
I still have loads of opamps: 5534,5532,2134,627,637 etc.etc.
Thought of doing the active crossover the Danish bloke developed as i still had 50+ LT1028's, but i dont.
Hoping for an active single ended crossover by the time i have finished the Aleph's, dreaming does not cost.
When you posted your active amp thread i did not have a clue on the chassis numbers you mentioned before the amp references.
Hence my question, you have me puzzled on the speaker design.
jacco.

and for the design;
the two SS8555's will be placed in a 100ltr closed box. Sand-filled walls and seperate compartments. Lead and vilt and Pritex on the inside.
Seperate satellite with mid&high, very small(3.5ltr) and heavy.

""And remember ya can't touch the top of the bolt and the chassis or you have a short circuit...."
Mark, can you explane this to me please?"
Yes, Its like a dead short winding around the toroid if you do this. The toroid won't like it much. One reason there's an insulator above and below all open mounted toroids.
