I searched for 2SK1018 and found a power MOSFET datasheet.

I'm not familiar with the AR amp being discussed, so I don't know what's inside. I would think if there were TO3 devices in it someone would have questioned why such big parts already...

Is this power MOSFET totally irrelevant to this?

I had some clone boards made for the MkII. The output section looks like the Ref3. They have exactly the same circuit and component values from the second set of 6H30 on to the output. They are 0.94 thick with 2oz copper. Now the problem. Being a rooking I made some of the holes too small. I just drilled them out and things work fine. If anyone is interested in getting a set at my cost, send me a private email.

The resistor values in this schematic must be wrong. If we look at the sim in post 30 we see the bias voltage and drain voltage are different to the schematic. Is this done on purpose to stop people cloning it?
