EPIC STORY:
Drivers were ordered in September. B&C finally shipped them first week of december, with our departure date of 21 jan it was going to be close.
The shipment arrived in Melbourne on friday 9th Jan. A week later they arrived at the supplier in Adelaide. A call from them noted it missed the overnight shipment, and would be shipped monday 19th.
I was concerned that we had not time to check them, install them and get them on the truck Wed the 21st in the AM, so I asked for air freight options.
No reply untill a call at 7pm Monday 19th where my supplier bribed the truck driver to stop on the side of the highway to load the drivers on the overnight shipment on friday! A bottle of Jack Daniels coaxed him into it!
Monday 19th the drivers are back in Melbourne with the courier and are "on board for delivery". They drove around Melbourne all day in the back of a truck....I stared at the front door from 7am...Even leaving the door open to shower. Ate on the porch. 4.30 rolled in and no sign of the drivers. They said they would be at my place by 5.
At 6pm still no sign....I gave up hoping to drive to the dept on Tuesday AM.
Tuesday I am at the dept at 9am after they said they were pulling the drivers off the truck. Yet they could not be found.
After many calls to customer service who shunned me off, I complained to the supervisors, and finally got some action. Let the supplier know of the trouble who got on their case as well.
After 2.5 hours of nothing, they called to say the accidentally sent the drivers back to Adelaide Monday night! No hope of getting them in time now.
2500 dollars, weeks for work, 5 months of waiting...fail!
My supplier went nuts at the courier, who agreed to ship them to me via Airfraight that day.
I got the drivers at 5.30 pm on Tuesday. Installed, quick test, and on the truck heading to Rainbow Serpent Wednesday morning.
The Coco Poco Loco pink opening party on thursday night was a big success. We had a mobile desert island with audiophile class bass and a free bar. 450 people dressed in Pink managed to find us in the back paddock and we rocked on from sunset to 3am.
