Hi everyone,
I have had these speakers for many years and recently discovered that one of them has failed and needs repair. I communicated with Graz from Australia along with Bill Thalmann in Virginia and it appears the problem resides in the woofer, more precisely the "bass cone". This is going to require some trouble shooting, i.e., opening up the speaker itself to see if the fix is minor or major. I'm not comfortable doing the work myself and am looking for an experienced repair person in the Tri-State area who has knowledge/experience working with Apogee speakers.
Any suggestions/recommendations are much appreciated.
Gary

Gary,
If it's just a woofer replacement, you should be able to do that yourself. An identical woofer replacement will probably not be available, so you could replace the woofer in both speakers. Madisound will have an appropriate driver. And it won't be very expensive.
Good luck.
Dave.

I used some Conductive Ink and Wire Wrap wire to repair mine and it worked excellent.
