2 centertapped 28 VAC secondary windings...40 lbs of transformer...there is a nice picture on the web site under the new section....click on the picture there and you will get a larger one...here it is

Can someone clear this up for me?
How many secondary taps are there on this transformer?
28 VAC * 30 Amp = 840 VA if we did the multiplication correct...per secondary @ 28 VAC ...
If you attach 120 VAC to the 105 VAC taps you will get a bit more voltage out...
the 2 secondary windings in series will give you 28*2 VAC @ 30 Amps...
This is a VERY nice transformer...

With 1680va for the two 28 volt winding,wouldnt 420 VA/secondary @ 14 VAC be past the 2k capacity?
The 14 VAC comes from the 28 VAC windings...it's the center tap....you can't pull 30 amps from the 14 VAC taps AND pull 30 amps from the 28 VAC..the 14 VAC winding is really the "lower" half of the 28 VAC winding...
I could be wrong but it seems like if you max out the 28 VAC windings that is all you get.

I have a photocopy of the vendor spec sheet...it's tough to read...it looks like it says 2 kva...although I don't know how they get that number. I can't imagine needing more capability than this transformer can deliver...assuming the voltage works for you.
Steve is shipping 4 to me via priority mail...@ a little under $10/transformer that's about half of what UPS cost from Southern California to Albuquerque....and I imagine UPS is close to $40 to the East Coast but Priority Mail is still under $10...
