Anyone know of GC that works from +/-50v

The input stage and output stage supply have separate pin outs . If the voltage between them is not maintained ( as specified ) your chip is fried .

This is of no concern if one ties the supply lines together.

If one decides to separate them (so one can filter the supply to the drivers more) one must enshure that supplyvoltage to the drivercircut is more extreme than then supply to the output. Meaning +V drivers >= +V output and -V drivers <= -V output.

very useful thread...

...decoupling the signal section seems like a simple, cheap fix for what is clearly a weak link in this parts armor...

Of course getting clipping that is closer to the rails and symmetric is nice too...more efficiency and higher quality...so rare to find both qualities in a modification...
