It does not oscillate at low volumes. I was only worried that if it is oscillating at louder volumes, its not harming the amp in any way. My amps use 4 x 845 tubes each and I don't want to replacing tubes!

I do have a ground loop issue that I'm working on. I thought the transformer will solve both these problems.

If your valve amp is oscillating it's not a good idea to connect a speaker to it, instead apply a 10 ohm say 50 or 100w resistor and hook it to a scope. then apply a 1khz sine wave to the amp, you should see a clean wave on the scope..

it's a pain when you've checked things and there's a low level hum being heard...
