I have a phoenix gold mx1260 home amplifier. It is 60wx12. When I plug in an RCA cable without touching the the ground terminal it picks up a radio station. Any ideas on how I can remove this? This amplifier has always done this. I have the schematics for this amplifier. I though about maybe adding a high frequency coupling capacitor across the source and ground.

Why would you plug the rca in without connecting ground? The outer shield is there to complete the circuit and keep interference out. Without it, the cable turns into a nice antenna...
