Hi y'all
I been reading and reading about Class d and class t etc.
Great power and great sound can be had, and very where it say that digital amps have low power consume.
But I can't seem to find any thing about idle power consume, you know when the amp is on, but no signal is playing.
I'm about to build an IB sub and need an amp there there is cheap to have turn on.
I would like more then 600watts in an 4 ohm load, is there an amp/modul out there for me ?
Thank you.

Saturnus said:Sure. Almost all wellconstructed class-D have extremely low idle current but most of the idle power will be lost in the power supply anyways, so that's basically what dictates it.
Thank you.
which power supply would you use when construction an class d amp

We are about to launch a 750W (max) module with only 5W idle power consumption, it may be right product for you. We also offer the right switching power supply to feed it.
Thank you, will do.
