Hi,
Bob Reimer at CSS (Creative Sound Solutions -Vancouver) will receive a shipment later next week. Selling price is likely to be around $200 USD per driver.
Re the Xmax, I've more up to date info. The 1 way = 9.0-mm.
The 12-mm total was given originally for guys who wanted to run the Alp12 as a woofer, my recommendation being 6-mm for 1 way at near constant high loads.
If you're planning to use full range then work on 9-mm.
Take a look page 3 of the Alp12 in the Markaudio section. There's some interesting details on this driver's suspension:

Hi Guys,
Bringing you up to date, the T/S shown on the first page of this thread was from measured from the Pre-production sample, aimed for horn use. A number of DIYer's contacted me about producing a version suitable for a larger choice of box designs.
I wanted to produce 2 versions (horn) and (wide use). Sadly, the economic situation has made this a non-starter. So the production version has been tweaked (thanks to help from Matsubara san) to make it more suitable for a variety of box concepts.
Here's the T/S Mass Production data.
Revc= 7.000 Ohm
Fo= 46 Hz
Sd= 143.14 Cm
Vas= 22 Ltr
Cms= 0.750 MM/N
Mmd= 14.886 g
Mms= 15.871 g
BL= 8.752 T.M
Qms= 1.454
Qes= 0.420
Qts= 0.327
Levc= 0.058m H
No= 0.493 %
SPLo= 89.3 dB
X Max= 9.0-mm 1 way
Pwr cont= 50 watts
Apologies for any confusion. More can be read on the Markaudio thread:
