Hi Pepe,
thanks. I just checked original P1.7 schematic from the pass service manual. It does show polarity in that schematic.
it has + going to Q15 D, + going to Q16 S.
- to Q18 D, + to Q19 S.
should I follow the schematic or the posting?
per your previous post do you still measure over 50V across the caps?
thanks.

Hi Bengali,
actually I mounted the caps as in the attached image.
The polarity of all caps are like you reported except that one in the circle...
As You read in the other post my measures are quite strange: 50 Volt is too much! I won't be at home before ten days. I will make other measuraments trying other position of the caps.
ASAP I will post there my results....
cheers

Yes, the original manual is "wrong", but for film caps the choosen pol-cap symbol didn't matter. Blame it on the Schematic software, this "problem" is quite common with these (no true non-pol cap symbol, with two straight plates), you will find pol-cap symbols in many schematics where in fact non-pols are installed.Bengali said:Hi Peppe,
yes, that's the one I was not sure of.
so Q18 should tie to pos side of cap and not neg. side?
thx.
