Zaph did a comparison with the extremis a while back. For a while I had been juggling doing a larger 2.5 with them, but liked the looks and opinions of the XT18, which zaph made a kit with. Made the desicion hard enough that I put off the whole project for now.

Yes we had to as CSS is not ordering in any more Extremis 6.8 drivers and we needed to proctect our products.
YJr Extremis driver replacement ? Is to be on the development stages and this can take some time to get it done.
But a few changes will come to this new driver from CSS.

Yes the 6.4 Extremis CSS has in stock but after they run out Bob from CSS is not ordering any more Extremis in.
CSS is moving the direction of having a replacement for the 6.8 Extremis from a manufacture who will produce lower quanities drivers.
This makes other driver models being developed get to the market faster.
In the end why purchase a few thousdand drivers of the same model when you can purchase 4 ,5 or 6 different models from another manufacture.
And yes all still XBL^2 motors
What I can yay is if you want the 6.4 purchase them now while you can.

No Adire is not doing the design of the CSS drivers or sold threw or market threw Dan at Adire.These new drivers from CSS will be CSS drivers with licenced XBL^2 motors.
The same as our RA165.8 plus RA165.16
XBL^2 drivers can be built by licences build manufactures which start a design then send it to Adire for approval and then licencing approval.
Then the licenced manufacture builds the drivers.
