Additional magnets for Magnepan...?

Yeah, the stands will be with three "arms" in an y-shape, attatched to the side frame.

AND...... AT LAST....! -I have found someone, who tried my ideas aboyt dampening the frames and magnets. And it seems as this launch the rocket to stratopheric levels SIMPLY AND EASY!!!

Absorbing added mass... And I will go fourter, and add felt strips covering ONE millimeter of the Mylars edge all over the diaphgrams edge, where it is in contact with the frame. Like in ribbon tweeters, where tis covers the area where the ribbons yelds and sound harsh.

you could use bitumen for the front. to dampen it. but im not sure if it makes that much of a diference. i know there pole piece are wobly, but still , might have to try one day if it really helps. get the measuring mic ready!

A question about the magnets.
How wide are they?
How thick?

If one wanted to make a new panel or make a diy maggie it is difficult to find suitable magnets. (The block magnets people use seem less than optimal).
