If it were me, I want to try different pairs, and not risk leaving anything on the table.

Thank you for your kind and valuable advice
And i have decided to set up a little laptop that i will use specifically for this.
As soon as i am ready i will list the SW that i will load on it.
In general this pc should serve, if possible, as a signal generator and possibly a spectrum analyzer
...am i asking to much ?
i have already usb sound cards available of course, but not with mic input.
I know that Behringer has also a cheap good mic.
But i need some days to work on it.
