Hello

Here is an hybrid LM3886 inspired by an ideas from the Tube Cad web site.

Which value would you suggest for the two RK resistors ?

Any suggestions or modifications ?

I include the schematics.

Thank you

Regard

Hello

Nice schematic your 6N23P hybrid amp.

I have lot of new old stock 6N2P-EV tube from Russia, same than 12AX7 but with a different filament connexion.

So I would like to use my 6N2P-EV in a hybrid LM3886 amp.

Do my schematic are good ?

But I would need suggestion of values for RK resistors.

Thank

Bye

Gaetan

the amp is very goood !(about my schematics ,you can try it)

as i know 12ax7 and 6n23p have different characteristics and not only the filament conection is not like in 6N23P
your schematics is good too but is beter if you use 4,7u cap as input capacitor

this is my pcb for my amp

Hi jazzman06 sorry but i don't understand the dimension of pcb.
I try at printed the pcb but at 100% is very big , at 50% the 3886
not insert in the hole, is possible have the right dimension?
You sold the pcb.
thanks for all
Sergio

Green Marlin - i have attached a rar archive that contains lay file , you can open it with sprint layout v 5.0
and print it from it

I'd be interested in a tube phase splitter for use in the BPA-300 amplifier. This could replace the expensive Jensen or Lundahl input transformer and or opamp input phase splitter that is necessary in this amplifier. I think a toobe would be a much better choice then either of the other routes. There are already kit amplifiers for sale from China via e-bay similar to what you guys are showing above.
