Hello all! I am very new to this forum, but I have been looking into re using a bunch of old speakers I have salvaged from old electronics, and was wondering if I could have some help on where to go to get an audio amplifier for them. I am interested in making portable speaker systems just for the fun of re using these and to give to friends asking for them
I currently have:
2 x 5ohms 6W Speakers
2 x 8ohms 10W speakers
1 x 8ohms 0.5W speaker
1 x 8ohms 3W speaker
I would like to have an amplifier for each type of speaker I listed so that I can get the most out of these speakers
thanks for any help!

Hi
Your need of being portable and relatively low power output, could be
met with a LM1875 kit(s) being connected as a single ended amp(s).

just remember to use a heat sink !
There are boards available and kits at the usual retail outlets.
have fun !

For portable sound solutions, classD is the way to go as you'll get better battery life. Here's an amp that needs an external power supply - you could use batteries or a wall-wart if indoors.
