all of them are doing Class D in their REALLY Hipower designs.

OK, I guess those could be called mainstream...
I wonder how they sound- maybe better than their conventional amps with switching power supplies?

A year or so ago I just test checked a couple of racks of QSC before dispatch to a customer, including the class D and switching psu versions. They all sounded very similar, though I have to admit that was just with a big pile of Turbosound bass bins, and in non ideal conditions.
