Nick, no they are not metal plates, I have been trying to get hols of a pair but they are scarce. I am hoping that Shuguang is going to produce another run in the near future but I am not holding my breath!
Thanks Rick, Victor, Bob and Rbanta, It is definitely true to say that I would not have had a hope in hell of building this (or any of my prior projects) without the advice and input from this forum.
Hey Chris, good to hear from you. It would be great to have you come over and have a look. If you email me your mobile, we can tee up a time. The next couple of WE's are pretty tight but after that things are a bit more under control. I would offer to bring it around to your place but it is barely transportable with regards to weight!!!
