You have to look at China tubes to find the 6N1
It says that equivalent is
6N1P, 6N1P-EB, 6N1P-EV

Urban myth. 6N1P is a normal tube ECC88/6922 is a frame grid.
I have both of them, and I have tested them. the 6n1p is an entirely different tube. that their pin compatable and will work to some extent seems only to keep the myth alive.

6N1P Is suited to do anything a 6sn7 will do in audio circuits.

How about the Chinese 6J1

Is there a good replacement for the China 6J1 valve?
I want to try some different tubes in a Little-Bear P5.
I heard that the 6554W JAN's is supposed to work and have better sound.

From the Chinese tube manual, the following can be sub'd for the 6J1 (please verify the actual specs yourself): 6AK5, 6F32, 5591, 5654, EF40, EF95.

Yes I have seen on some tube site that 6J1 is like 6AK5,as well as 5654, not sure about the others. But will post when I get some 5664w's for results.

I just bought this chinese build Nobsound Single-ended Class A Hi-fi Tube Headphone Amplifier. Ebay-link

It uses the Chinese (not Russian) tubes 6N5P and 6N11.
Does anyone know some ekvivalent and better tubes to replace them with?

Where are those tubes produced and do you have any thoughts about whay they are better? In what way?
Where should I by them?
I am pretty new to this so I have a lot of questions.

The 6AS7 were made in the US, and the 6080 mostly in the EU. Many 6DJ8's were made all over the world. In Europe, these tubes could be ordered via eBay or Jac Music, etc.
