These tubes were used for regulation, however, I cannot find any examples of how to use them in a PSU. Any help with how you would set these up to regulate a supply for a SE amp would be appreciated. Would you use them like a 6AS7 and the likes? I decided I really don't need to build another amp but I have 2 of these tubes hanging around I figured I'd use them for something....
well , you must start somewhere ;

Re: Give me some credit II
shoot me with email , and I'll send you one thorough tutorial for series voltage reg .
it's for another tube , certainly ..........

Anybody use 6C41C's as they were intended?

athos56,
I have an ampl . 6C41C & EF861. Output tube has Ri=apr. 200-300 ohms,
depend of Ia, and very great sound!
My old version is with preampl.6П15П /russian/, on the foto. Ra output transf = 1,5 kohms, Ia=130 ma.

If You interest, I will send a schematic.

Wow! How long do you build your stereo amps?
That 6E1P with no getter flash looks very cool!

nah, just the raw B+ minus the reg voltage must be under 300v.. that's the part it actually passes..
so 550V raw B+ and 300V reg'd output would be ok.
but..
checking data sheet - says Va = 450v max, 600v on a cold tube / turn on, not 300v.
Vhk is 300v though, so you may need a seperate fil winding, if output is >300v
