hello,
nothing but a no. difference 500 vs. 900
heatloss vs. power
class ab vs. class h
efficiency
ab class amp more heat dissipation
class h less heat dissipation
Thanks for the info...
Hi Apex
Your protection against short circuit at the output of the amplifier is not working. protection relay is very slow. Short-circuit the output transistors are burned. How to deal with it?
VI limiter must be add for full protect.
Use 10ohms resistors instead fuses and test amp with outputs transistors.
sir miles 10r or 100r
0R33/5W for B500
Mr. Miles,
Sorry for this silly question, but I'm having difficulty of getting 0R33/5W resistor in my place its not available, please advise which one is possible or better replacement 0R47/5W or 0R27/5W?
and what will be the effect if not getting the right value.
Regards,

Use 0R47 but you can use 0R27 also, only effect is in overcurrent detector.

Thank you Mr. Mile..... I'm Trying to finish my second channel, i'm excited to hear the stereo of B500.

Credit for Mr. Miles/Apex,
Such a nice, powerful, noiseless and clear sounding amp.
In a low volume speakers like it's disconnected from the modules.

Awesome looking wind tunnel heatsink you got there...

Thanks.. Yeah..I salvage those from Bouyer AR 1150 Amp. from scrap.
Mr. Mile,
Can you suggest PA protect for B500, i saw you post you don't recommend below protect for B500 and H900.
What is the correct protect to use for B500 or H900???
Regards,
Protection is used with B500 and H900.
Protects against DC and temperature. Protection against short-circuit is bad, it will not save the amplifier from damage.

Ok, but i dont undestand why he don't recommend the PA stereo protect for B500 and H900 anyway Thanks Maxmud...

You are lucky, I have been meaning to make my own tunnel heatsink for as long as I can remember.
There is nothing wrong with using one stereovariante no protection, it will work well. But in idelae protection should be a separate amplifier for each channel. For accuracy and stability of operation.
I got it!! meaning if i use separate protection for each channel it will only cut off accordingly when there's a fault occur either one of them, it make sense to me now...
Thanks you....
one of my favorite power APEX B500. I made a 3D version
Nice work.
