5-1/2", 6-1/2" or 7" woofer for FAST desktop?

I know I want to investigate myself but I'm wondering from those who have experience, which size would you prefer for a desktop for a PC? I'm talking about a FAST (Fullrange And Sub Technology).

Hi,

It all depends on the FR you are assisting (FAST = full range assisted).

Subs imply x/o < 150Hz or so, and FASTs use higher x/o frequencies,
typically around the baffle step frequency of the front baffle width.

For desktop side mounting the assisting driver is an idea
for a not too tall, narrow but deep deskstop speaker.

I'd look at 1st order series x/o's and say these drivers :

Madisound Speaker Store

with a suitable FR like :

Madisound Speaker Store

or

Madisound Speaker Store
