the 3d-modeling is one of my real work.
That explains my confusion with the shadow around the exponential curves of the left and right sides of the horn waveguide. I stared at it long enough as it doesn't make sense.
You need to improve your 3-D modeling skill. Just kidding

there is no way it can sound normal if you already listend good quality dac and hi-end quality loudspeakers\amps

Have any schematics for these designs? I'm always interested in improving things. My main issue with the Minidsp is the whole dac thing but for the money & ease its great for beginners like me. I did have a dac with a valve output stage working for a while but eventually killed it somehow, fried a component on the board I think. I will admit even through the passive crossover it sounded very nice, let me guess, valves are crap
