Holton's 400W Amp

Hi guys.

I have the whole project(main board,soft start unit,VU display,DC fault protection unit,etc)
I've designed it in old Tango Pcb Dos, but I can convert it into P CAD 2002,so you must have this software to open it!
Since I made it 3 years ago any suggestions about the concept I will accept.
Regards.

Layouts

Hi.

Ok,Iwill try to attach the images.Resolution is low so you'll not be
able to see the holes, pads etc.

HI Tino.Thanks.
You have a mail.

There are questions about IC1.
It is a temperature sensor LM35DZ.Bellow is how to mount it.Fill the hole with thermal compound(not to much). The sensor must
touch the heatsink!

I can't attach the whole project here because of the limits.Files are 250kB compressed.
And one more thing...print the bottom layout only with a laser printer.
Regards.

Hi HighTec

Many tnx,
I have the construction notes for the symmetrical 400 watt amplifier of Anthony.E.Holton
Revised Schematic
(C)Copyright 1994-99
LAST REV.01/06/1998
and there isn't an IC1 for temperature sensor LM35DZ.
Your pcb work is for this realase?
I'm in mistake?
Bye

Hi Tino.

The basic is same, but I've made some major changes. The components are not under the same designator like in Holton's
schematic.
I've added the circuit with LM35 for muting the amp if the
heat sink temperature exeed 90 degrees Cel.The whole design is
adapted for professional needs(fans,XLR3 inputs etc.).
I'll send the whole schematics today or tomorrow. The guys from
Altium(PCAD) said that translating schematics from Tango Dos into
PCAD 2002 would be a piece of cake, but theory and practice are not the same.
Regards
