Does anyone have experience with this driver? Seems to have a pretty good response curve, with a nice gentle roll off off axis. Inductance is also quite low, and acceptable xmax.

But the 18Sound seem to be around 8db down from 500hz to 100hz
And thats exactly where you actually need more output (BSC)
Effectively you have a 90db+ driver, or so
If you only need down to 70hz, maybe Eminence Beta-8A will do
Its said to sound quite good, and its cheap around 40EUR
May even respond well to a bit of coating, and I love that
Personally, If I aimed at that price range I would take the step and order some TD series AE
