Pearl Acoustic Sibelius

I used my last weeks to build some cabinets based on @Hondasnl 's plans, with little changes.
I got an great deal on the 10.3 Drivers and the Sibelius-style cabinets fit sizewise much better in my room than all the others.
Long story short, the first listening-test wasn t great, they sound a little harsh and ear fatiquing, so I decidet to give them a good amount of break-in time. After 50hours playing under a blanket i tried them again and they sound great.
Realy holographic, with a lot of depth, no harshness and a lot of controled bass.

I m sure the originals will sound better, not talking about the craftmanship.
But for what I paied, these are some great sounding speakers.
For now I put them back under the blanked for a little longer to break-in, the whole 150+h markaudio recomends.

When I first want to start this build I didn t fully read this thread, I just found the sketch and compared to several pictures of the originals, where it also seem to be lower, so I changed.

Later I also want to try how the sound change if I build this part a little higher.

Please correct me if I m wrong, but to lower this part could tend to higher port resonances ?!

Nice work Qualle! In the future I also like to built them.
I like the Markaudio's 10.3 drivers very much.
Nice to hear that also a clone version of the Pearl Acoustics Sibelius CG sounds satisfying!
They also performs very good in my already sold "Crystal-6 Double Horn luidsprekers with Markaudio Alpair-10 Gold Full-range Woofer".
The new owner is very happy with them.

Today I ordered another pair of the 10.3's and I like to use them in my cloned Sibelius.
I really like to know how the 10.3's sounds in the cloned Sibelius to compare it with my previous built "Crystal-6 Double Horn luidsprekers with Markaudio Alpair-10 Gold Full-range Woofer".
Updated the drawing and lateron playing with some damping.

Markaudio Alpair-10 Gold Full-range Woofer

I really dislike that description.

1/ they are copper not gold.
2/ and while they do a good job in the bass they are not really woofers. The A10.2 might be able to have that woofer description, but to improve the sensitivity, and tame some of the HF issues of the A10.2 bass capability was sacrificed.
