Thanks Doede. Very nicely laid out. Interesting to get your read on the impact of doublers.
Great to have a place to read about subjective sound impressions without an inquisition. Also worth noting that one could be very happy with any one of these permutations and combinations. Very cool that you built something where you can have it all.

Hello,
Yes, Doede's blog contains useful information and the DDDAC thread here offered guidance for those that needed that. Points of view were respected.
Nowadays the right information is hard to find. Makes it easier to just stop making new investments.
Greetings, Eduard

I am continuing to work through the issues I'm having using the SinePI with the McDualXO board.

Following previous unsuccessful tests, I wanted to narrow down where the fault might lie. So, I connected the SinePI to my FifoPI Q3. This worked perfectly. It located the clock source and complained when I played a track at the wrong sample rate - perfect.

So, as far as I can tell, there is an incompatibility between the McDualXO and the SinePI even with R28 and R31 shorted.

Has anyone else got the SinePI working with the McDualXO?

@iancanada any ideas about what I can try next?

Many thanks,
Crom

Thanks Doede,

I followed your blog over time with great interest. Thanks for your contributions to our interesting hobby. Nice to read your comparison of doublers with 176 HiRes and 44.1 redbook . It looks like more or less the same subjective expirience as I have with the Ian stuff combined with 5,6 Mhz Andrea Clock for redbook whereas the 22,5 Mhz Andrea Clock is very nice on HiRes. Looking forward to your diy switch with superclocks :) one day.

Hi Doede,

Thank you so much for sharing the project. It's awesome and very well implemented. Even the cases are pretty high-end, not to mention the sound quality. That's really great.

I'm still working on my DDDAC project though it's a little be slower than I expected. Doede's blog would be helps.

I'm struggling to get use to this new DiyAudio UI. I miss the old style :)

Regards,
Ian
