Studio Reference Amplifier

Sr200

That's ok - my idea was to see what you mean by "popped capacitor" looking at its photo. Please give more information when you describe the problem.
There are only two reasons for the capacitor to pop - overvoltage and wrong polarity. Which one took place in your case?

Lack of bass is very subjective. Pretty easy to diagnose making a few measurements with the signal generator in place. Otherwise, we can only guess. In case the PSU provides the steady rails, powerful enough, the only part limiting the bass is the input filter C1, R3. What type of capacitor do you use for C1?

Greetings guys .My main problem is my sr200 is not go louder.i have 12 "woofer 8 ohm . 135mm magnet..Can any 1 tell me how to solved this .I am using ttc5200.or tta1943 is that problem.or small transistor problem
How we can help without measurements and clear pictures?
What you are using as input signal?
Is the level enough for full output?
Look at the resistors value carefully!

Sunny, for the beginning, you need to measure the AC voltage of the signal at the input of the amplifier, preferably with some True RMS voltmeter of DMM.
What AC value will you see?
Then we'll be able to help you.

Are you using the PP12 each time when testing?

You said you had a capacitor blow on the PP12? What voltage are you feeding it?

I see thermal paste on your PP12 transistors - have you isolated the heatsinks?

Are the transistors from a reputable source?

Have you tried to use a different preamp?

sorry mr. sunny22g
i cannot see any pictures and measurements of your work being uploaded. a simple good resolution picture will let others look at your work in terms of resistor VALUES, POLARITY of diodes, capacitors etc....

regards

Have you measured your voltages and written them on the schematic? It's the only way anyone can help.

Sir I connect pp12 with stk4141 they playing good but sr 200 lose of quality.when I play pp12 with stk I feel the bass and loudly ness.but with sr normal to down
