Yes, the dual board. It can't power my Mytek Brooklyn which draws 800mA at 12v. I'm giving it enough voltage headroom on the input, the drop is more than 200mA, that was just the top of my head figure.
What is the input voltage? (as i understand - output is 12v 800ma)
13v dc coming off a lt3083 3 amp pre-reg board. Which currently powers the brooklyn.
13Vin/12Vout @0.8A - should work without heatsink (IC temp should be ~40C above ambient).
listedWhen do you think the new boards will be ready?

it is fair 1.5A (3xLT3045)Looks like my dac trips the current limit, it spikes briefly at 1,200mA for about a second on startup.

Hi,
my new TPS7A4700 pcbs will be soon delivered. Would like somebody to have?
i would like, is it better comparing to 5.2B version from 12.2015???

Not necessary better, but I have considered the layout again and optimised for my requirements... This earlier version had not been manufactured.
I've not used this regulator yet because I've discovered some better ICs for low-current applications (e.g. LT3042). But in my pre-regulator need a Vin>20V capatibility, and as I know this is the only ultra-low noise IC that supports that.

you can check link below (LT3045 is a 0.5A version)Have you any prototype boards using the LT3042?
