And thus choking the ventilation holes? Yes, everybody will hear a really major difference as the amps is cutting out.

Best regards!

I'm sure he didn't mean that.

A piece of kitchen benchtop would go nicely underneath my Pioneer CLD-2600 laserdisc player. On top of it, not so much.

The Pioneer CLD-2600 would have to be the quietest laserdisc player that I've ever owned. You cannot hear the disc spin up at all. the transport is completely silent.

But I doubt there will be any difference to the laserdisc player, and I'm phasing out CDs. So the only place that I would need or warrant a piece of kitchen benchtop would have to be underneath a record player.

My amplifier is already sitting on a subwoofer which is made from the same stuff as kitchen benchtop, MDF, and I didn't notice any difference to it sitting on the floor.

I think if rich people want to spend lots of money on rubbish their wealth induced snobbery ought to be taken full advantage of. Often rich people can get bargains that poor people can only dream of, for this reason alone they should be fleeced at every opportunity.

So you are saying rich people should be entitled to getting something like the Stein Harmonizer rocks at half the price?

OK all you wealthy folks...I have some great slightly used rocks that look and perform like new for only $500 each.
