Possibly not in the case of the 6C33 which may be running at 200mA - 250mA at a couple of hundred volts. I would not operate one at much over 200V. (300mA at 150V has been encountered)

I would either go solid state or the 5C8S. One other option would be to consider a pair of parallel 5AR4 per channel.
 
Pair of parallel 5U4GB works well for years already.
L-input PSU.

I would recommend 6CM3. This is the highest current capacity (400 mA) TV damper diode. Voltage drop is less that 10 V at 350 mA. These tubes come in two varieties, single or double plate; double plates are better. The disadvantages - you need 2 tubes, and they require Magnoval socket.
