Just logged on to the forum and got a shock ! Really sad to loose him. At 56 it's really much worse. The line between life and death is very fine. You never know when one will keel over.
Very sad to hear this. 2016 was bad. Lost a few close friends ! Some just keeled over for no apparent reason. Was just coming out of a shocking 2016 and this happens !

RIP Sreten , and condolences to his family and friends !

No man is an Iland, intire of itselfe; every man
is a peece of the Continent, a part of the maine;
if a Clod bee washed away by the Sea, Europe
is the lesse, as well as if a Promontorie were, as
well as if a Manor of thy friends or of thine
owne were; any mans death diminishes me,
because I am involved in Mankinde;
And therefore never send to know for whom
the bell tolls; It tolls for thee.

John Donne

Sad news, he was certainly passionate about things, which is important in my opinion.

56 is way too early, around the same age as a close relative that just now got news about cancer, do not yet know how bad it is, will spend some time together this weekend.

Also lost a cousin to cancer last year.

...

Life is indeed to short. We must enjoy it while we can.

Anyone know what happened to Sreten?

One of my greatest wishes was that I"d bump in to him, get talking and he would come round and tell me exactly...exactly what was wrong with my set up but sadly I lacked the courage to contact him as he seemed such an important figure, stupid I know, one of those things that will remain in my memory. He lived around 6 miles away I believe, in central Brighton, so sad to hear the news. His posts will live on and on little gems of wisdom thanks Sreten for all your shared insights. Its Friday night, cheers where ever you are Im sure you wont let them get away with anything.

jkojic (Johnny),
Thank you for taking the time to register and noting what the members are offering about Sreten and his time here. You are a family member obviously and we know Nenad (Ned) as a Sreten's brother, so may we ask how you are related?
It's great that you came here, as we often think of each other as family, so if you or any member of his family wish to offer a memoriam for the members of diyAudio, you are most welcome. I bet you'll have a large audience.
Thanks for joining us in this most difficult time.
