My latest project: It is a Conn amplifier converted to a Mullard 5-20 circuit.
The transformers are pretty close to the Dynaco in size and not too far off in performance (at least to 45K)

Buffer with ecc88 - slightly modified Super Linear Cathode Follower (thx to Allen Wright), relay volume control based on Farmtech design (ATmega32), full remote control and other things... Sound is outstanding.

Dear bonzo15011978!
You're quite right!
I use DIY loudspeakers (my own design) with drivers manufactured in the 50-th at "RRR" factory (Riga, Latvia).

:D:D:D
Speaker's grill are awesome! Bet your kitchen needs some new tools :D

I love the complex crossover too! A beautiful cap indeed

I hope to start working with my Saba and Isophone soon, your build is really inspiring.

Thank you spswmsw !

PS: Sorry for the OT. :sorry:

Nice, spswmsw. Green is the power supply? Looks pretty small in the photos, but maybe that's just the photo?
Yes, PSU is green. And the amp is really small enough (constructed in the boxes of two PSUs from the personal computers). A just wanted to make it as small as possible to be placed on the table.

Berman 76 preamplifier

I just finished my version of the 76/6SN7GT preamplifier, closely following the Berman schematics as published in Sound Practices #13 of 1997.
After some modifications, the preamplifier works very well with no hum or noise.
Also see the thread in the "Tubes / Valves" section: "Berman 76 preamplifier, I need some advice please".
