I have the Systemdek IIX900 with RB300 as spare for now in case something goes wrong with the mutated Walker. I will fit it a Dyna 10X4 MKII as good as new that I also got and use a Valve Itch on it or something.
How much parasitic R you can measure on each of those? That would spell choke input if they had some real high inductance and maybe you don't have enough secondary then, other side of the moon.
They don't have to be Mundorf, buy generic MOX, there is nothing special. But I would prefer some chunky 100ppm 2W Dale.

If everything is up to scratch perfect with vintage good TTs and arms, then the carts play first role. Although expensive heavy TTs play noticeably better, the fun part is still there with some restoration ingenuity.
Of course I'll buy that - after listened to them in my enviroment. We are at the edges of things. I'm not trusting anything before listening and I do not feel that I have any need to do so for the moment. But of course - invite me to listen to whatever shows you think I need to get sensible enough to get the whatever. If I'm close at my expense - othervise someone needs to pay. But there are a lot of us in the books so pick the one you are used to pick. I have other commitments.

At that case, I need to dis-solder my Nichicons KGs. I'll do that over this weekend.
In addition, I gave you just an example of that type of through-whole small chokes that I can use in your Raw DC PCB (Just got that from Tea Bag). You might find other through-whole "mini" chokes from Mouser or Digikey production stock that will be more sustainable there on PCB. That will be a solution for me, since I can't use DC reactor 200mA choke. No space in my box. Thank you.
Yes maybe modern - feet tall platters have an edge here. I just haven't had the urge to find out what my ears say about it.
Do not take this as critisism Salas or anybody else for that matter - it isn't. It is just my view and ultimate utopia of how I think and react. I gladly jump on things that from the beginning was doomed to be dismissed just for the joy of exploration. But when it gets right for me - I stand by it.

Our local mains voltage is, I think, supposed to be 110V; friends of mine have measured 112V. I'll measure it tonight when I'm home from work.
Either way, I tested these transformers with a 97-ohm load, and they still produced >42VAC, which I reckon translates to >400mA. I really thought the voltage would drop more than that under that sort of load. I expected the unloaded voltage to be higher than 36V, but I didn't expect it to be as high as it is, and certainly not under load. It would be helpful if Hammond would publish a regulation figure for those transformers. Live and learn.
