The smallest "all tube", all in one box (linear PS included) amp in the world (?) is here!

Its tremendous power output estimated at around 100mW...:violin:
Dimensions:135x85x75mm
Weight: 950gr

I thought my little tube amp was small slightly smaller than an A4 sheet, it's very impressive that you've managed to squeeze everything into such a small space chris.

Do I detect the beginning's of a new kit there Scott?

I don't think there are many folks interested in parallel single ended, especially using 12W6. I'm not sure many of those tubes are left out there anyway. I just happen to come across a bunch of them, and also have quite a few 6N1P-EV. The Antek xfmr I'm using is a perfect match for the filament requirements. I suppose the boards would support 6V6GT with just a bias resistor change.

Nice Scott... very nice. I would go an put white something or another on the bottom just so it is as stark as the top (though I would paint the Edcor's bells white also).

Parallel SE might interest some who want more power out of class A. And would a drop in of the 12V6 be possible? There are still a few of those kicking around (though probably rare in quads). I'd consider purchasing a set of the boards from you if the math was done for me :D ...

The 6W6 like triode is an incredible valve. The only problem i remember is the heater current. But It has a monster cathode capable of high current.
Regards Mr Scott. Good taste. Good sound? tell me please.

The 12W6 heater current is 600mA, so with the xfmr I'm using it works out fine. I running these at almost 9W plate dissipation, 10W is the max. I guess I'll see how long they hold up. I've been running my first point-to-point prototype of this about 6 hours everday for 6 months. So far so good. Excellent imaging and a very sweet sound to me.

here is my cary audio cad-808 rocket 88 kt88. bought this just to get back into the tube sickness.
turned out to be a wonderful sonic gem with these new tubes genalex kt88, mullard el84 and eh gold pin 6922.
