Recently finished 4-65a monoblock pair
It took me over two years in planning and construction, but they're finally completed! It was as much an exercise in aesthetics, as it was for sound quality. That is to say, they sound at least as good as they look!

this a 6AV5 push-pull power amp pentode output, G2 regulation....for livening up shortly....

yes, sure, after i have debugged and commissioned the amp....
the amp is a buffered one using 6R-RH8,(6dj8)...
a 6BH11 input and LTP stage ala Mullard 5-20 topology....
the 6AV5's are run pentode mode, with G2 set to 150volts regulated using a mosfet regulator, the screen grid supply is delayed by about 3seconds..operating point of the output is about 400V plate and about 30mA cathode current...

I have found the work of so many on this thread to be creative and noteworthy. These however are in a class by themselves as original art.
I would be interested in an image of the underside wiring if possible, and a description of the 3 separate chassis. I get from the circuit diagram where you drew the line between raw power and signal.

There have been a few changes since these pictures have been taken. The signal chassis shows a SSHV being used, but it's since changed to a SSHV2. The first chassis on the rack is an external speaker crossover for Klipsch Forte II, second is the power supply chassis, and up top is the signal chassis.

2A3 Single Ended Mono Amplifier
This is the Mono Amplifier that I built for my friend Brian Kim. This is the very first SE amp of Hi Fi tube amp of his collection. It employs Lundahl's LL1623AM amorphous core output transformer, and LL1638 double choke filtering for the B+. Driver is with 7N7 tube and each stage with separate RC B+ filtering.
