I love the music of Ravi Shankar. I was fortunate to see him in concert a few years back and it was a genuinely inspirational performance. For those looking at his prolific number of recordings I heartily recommend the soundtrack album from the movie "Charlie". Unconventional and wonderful just like the book from which the movie was made, "Flowers For Algernon".
I beg to differ. Nora Jones has one of the most boring unexpressive voices in the world. Brings nothing new. Completely forgettable in every way. She should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Ravi Shankar.Well, the daughter he leaves makes up for a lot!
