Hey, just wanted to share some pics of my vintage system.
It's no where near completion yet. Still looking to buy some 10" speakers, turntable, Pioneer tape deck and Pioneer elite CD Player.
Heres what I have so far. (see pics)

Pioneer TX-710 Tuner (1980)
Pioneer DT-500 Timer (1980)
Sony D-50 discman (1st ever discman made in 1984)
Realistic Minimus 7 walnut veneer 4" speakers (1988)
Ikea Limhamn stainless shelf 23" wide, 13 3/4" deep, 35" high

Not bad. Thanks for sharing. What made you choose this gear in particular? Usually, 70's vintage gear is more sought after.
My dad bought the SX-3700 amp and CT-F555 deck in 1981.. so I always wanted to buy myself a similiar setup.

The speakers might work better on dedicated stands. Or mounted to the wall with brackets. Might...

Nice. I had a Pioneer F-70 (?) tuner in 1980s, also the Tandy Minimus-7 speakers, they are good at the size, price. Go, retro! I'm currently driving 1970s vintage Bose 901s with 2010's vintage Class-D amp and DSP
