You shout look for a shop where you can listen to the speaker you are interested in.I'm only 15 years old I start work with sound when i was 13 years so i don't realy know any thing. But in my church I run the sound for 1 year and every one love the sound so i'm not that bad.

Otherwise you can choose on specification then you need to know what your demands are.
Here a topic of a good low price monitor maybe you can use it. This behringer is also as activemonitor available then you can plug it direct to your mixer.

I don't know about best for bass, but the Stentorians look like really good value for money and will go VERY loud.
Speaker Design Works
The same midbass drivers are used in the $5500 Green mountain Eos: Green Mountain Audio - eos hd
EDIT: Oh, and with them being a high sensitivity design I'd imagine them working really well with a little TA2020 T-amp.

Hi,
Go loud with good bass : https://sites.google.com/site/undefinition/tarkus
Also see the build threads for further construction details ....
No way as loud as the high efficiency Stenatorians, but consequently
the lower eficiency gives far far more extended quality low bass.
rgds, sreten.
