Yesterday, at Burning Amp 2011, I won one of the two BA board sets (complementary output). However, when I got home I realized that I had received one bias board for the single ended outputs and one bias board for the complementary output. As the boards were loose on the table, I am assuming that the winner of the other board set will find that he has the same problem with his set.

(are you kidding, i'm still too scared to adress any female on the streets, they all look dodgy now)

Staying out of trouble allows me to wake up in my bed with both of my kidneys still on board – instead of waking up in an ice filled bath tub missing some parts.
I’m not referring to rumors you may have read about on the internet. I’m referring to my spousal unit and what she would do if I came home and gave her something other than dirty clothes…… :headshot:

BAF looked like a lot of fun this year. I'm sorry I didn't get to go. None the less, my father sent me some pictures that I feel obliged to share with the rest of us who couldn't make it.

Enjoy,
Nelson

Top Bonus of the show was the unscheduled Carpenter demo.
Bumping into shared heritage genes is always good for a Tulip hard-on, meeting like-minded with cojones and the heart on the front side and on top is double the fun.
Maybe John will post some of the pics he made during the show.

I'm home after a pleasant trip north from San Francisco to Portland, Oregon. I'll post all the pics I took with my iPhone in awhile.

My friends, Rahul and Vrushali, are the perfect companions to travel and explore Burning Amp. They were truly brought up to exhibit manners, courtesy, and lovely humor.

I must say that my visit with you and Choky made my year complete. It was with much regret that I said good-bye. Seems that we three could have been friends over many lifetimes... what joy that thought brings me... :)

Sigh... yes, Burning Amp should last several days so that we might enjoy one another's company longer, and Choky's excellent cooking ;)

Sweet!!! Thank You for posting ZM!! Now I can go to my bed and have nice dreams:sleep:

It is wonderful that you and everyone else that attended BAF had such a great time and now have wonderful memories for a lifetime.

When do depart for your return home? Hopefully your plane will not have loose parts hanging off the wings this time!!!

One thing I forgot to mention about the neat relay attenuator in the AMB preamp is that our very own member 'linuxworks' (Bryan Levin) designed it. Here was there showing some other designs, and I didn't get a good chance to talk to him about it.

This brings up something... Maybe the event could be 2 days. :D There is just too much cool stuff and cool people to learn from and talk shop. One day is just too short!

Still, I will take what I can get. It was a fantastic event!! :)
