Photos! We want to see photos!
Workin' on it right now. Hold on just a bit longer!
Fabulous day with ultimate geekery
Thanks so much to all who made Burning Amp happen. It was great to talk and watch and listen to so much stuff and to a lot of interesting people.
Especially interesting to hear presentations from Nelson Pass and Douglas Self: two great designers with very different perspectives.
Also great to see so much hardware built following a wide range of strategies and priorities.
Congratulations to the organizers for a great event!

A fantastic day!!!
Some random photos, in no particular order, or reason really...
Linkwitz Orion and a neat field-coil Lowther (or similar, I didn't actually find out exactily what it was) They both sounded excellent.
Neat grill.
I love DIY turntables!
Tube phono
The matching linestage
The Randall amp III
Zen Mod (right) talking to a couple of heads that are connected to Papa's Slot-loaded OB with Lowther 8"
Neat wooden casework
I think these are some crossovers for a nice-sounding 15" coax
A jolly old elf...
The beast of a thousand jFETs. (Actual number, more than 2000!!)
It sounds fantastic and looks very, very interesting. Also, lots of power, I think he said 60w into 8ohm
Jfet BOZ. Sticky tape optional. That said, it was a very clean build.
A gorgeous 6C33C preamp.
The equally pretty 6C33C power amp.
Nicely made Tubelab simple SE with James output transformers.
Single channel PP amp using SV572 driven by 6BM8. Damper Diodes for rectification - cooool!!
B1 powered by drill battery
Aleph Ono clone
Another Simple SE
Preamp by Ti Kan AMB audio. The latching relays sound really great when the volume is changed.
Don't remember anything about these EL34 monoblocks, other than they looked really nice.
Nelson talking about loadlines.
Zaph audio speaker (I don't remember which) being driven by AMB audio gear. It sounded very good, and was the last thing I heard that day, playing Thomas Dolby's 'She blinded me with Science' Nice!

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Next generation Papa making sure that OB's don't get a chance to wonder off - especially considering who wuz in the crowd....
I noticed that ZM was about as close to Papa as he could get without actually having a piggy back ride.
Thank You 6L6 for taking the time to take photo's and share 'em - very much appreciated!!!!

Great photos, thanks! Zen mod looks right at home in S.F.
Dats funny .......
I need to have a long talk with my sister - a PhD in things psychological - about my apparent addiction to diyAudio........
I wuz having empathic feelings for those I have seen waiting for the local booze store to open at 7 AM so they can get a little "package" to help them get over the morning. I had visions of phonograph needles stuck into my arm and hooked up directly to the internet via fiber optic cable. I don't chew on my finger nails - but I began to see the reason that some do, and I feared that if I started I would be banging on my keyboard with bloody stumps of what remained.
Oh dear me - Oh my - I neeeeeeeeeeeeed help!!!!
Now where in the hell are the rest of the photo's at?????

I expect a big bunch of photos to be unloaded here tomorrow.../QUOTE]
NO, today please!
Regards
I hope that they are still having fun and cameras are busy shooting...

I am using TV therapy to hold off Jones'n for photo fix. Currently watching local team (Tennessee Titans) chase pig skin at Cleveland - NASCAR race on 2nd channel - checking is with psycho counselor sister on Facebook - and every now and then checking diyAudio for photo's of audio porn.
I think I'm gonna be OK. Well - only for awhile tho. SWMBO is starting to emit heavy sighs - an indication that she is not pleased with my entertainment selection. This could result in boredom on her part and she will go shopping in order to get out of the house. THAT will be real trouble!!!!
I have to forgo the morning games for shopping. Sigh. We are going to buy pork, how ironic is that?
That's OK, since I am driving that means we get to stop for beer on the way home - wahoo!
I still get the afternoon games, the MLS Whitecaps and the evening pigskin tonight. I guess that a good trade.

Where's picture o?
Shame you weren't there to show yours, Cal.
Never thought i'd say this, but you're hardcore OT grade by now.
Speaking about hard-core, as the accustomed Red Light District amp afficinado that i is, i could not resist a market analysis of the competition by entering a couple of the local adult stores here.
Before sunday morning coffee, there's commitment for ya.
Top Bonus of the show was the unscheduled Carpenter demo.
Bumping into shared heritage genes is always good for a Tulip hard-on, meeting like-minded with cojones and the heart on the front side and on top is double the fun.
Maybe John will post some of the pics he made during the show.
