Michael,

Regrettably I cannot offer you boards just yet; I'm oversubscribed, but as often happens with a GB, there may be some here who eventually withdraw. There are three others ahead of you, but I'm hopeful I can send you some boards.

If there are others watching this thread who would like a pair of boards, do let me know, and if the numbers can build to more than forty orders, then I will crank up another run of 100.

Cheers,

Hugh

Three more 2+P posted off today:

Nicola (Italy)
Dinesh (NZ)
Sonny (Denmark)

I'm running out of pcbs now!!

Thanks Dinesh, no problem, on its way across the Tasman as you read this post!

Of those who have order but not yet paid, I invite you to make haste, because in ONE WEEK on 8th September I will start filling orders for the few who came late to the buy and are ready to pay now.

Cheers,

Hugh

PS: Today I finished my two modules, mounted them each on a MF30-75 Conrad heatsink, and am now about to start auditioning. Here's the picture of the completed modules, which work perfectly on the test bench!

Hi Hugh,
Boards were waiting for me when I got home yesterday. Yeay!
They are indeed very nice!
I'm looking forward to getting started but knowing how long I take with things they won't get finished all that quickly...
Thanks again for doing this for us.
Best wishes,
Joe

FetZilla Mini Review

Folks,

I've fired it up and will leave it play on repeat for a few hours, but here are my immediate, short term impressions.

#1 Extremely quiet. With quiescent at 400mA there is absolutely NOTHING coming through the speaker with no music playing. Rivals my NAKSA, it really does.
#2 Very good sound stage - wide, and, I think, quite deep.
#3 Very powerful bass, thanks to Paul Bysouth's clever hybrid bootstrap.
#4 Wonderful on guitar and acoustic music.

I will offer more comments when the running in is complete. The many caps on amps do require a bit of bedding down.

As one used to assessing amps, I can tell you this one is very good indeed.

Cheers,

Hugh
