i ask here not the amp forum because this is subwoofer specific and you guys know sub amps.
id like to take my subwoofer passion a little further, i need an amp (pro audio not car audio) that can provide a good strong clean signal for a sub, up to about 3 or 400 real watts.
4,8, (2?) 1 ohm capable??
new or e bay $200 or less.
anything come to mind?

The best sub amp I'm aware of is the electron kinetics eagle 2

Unless fire consumes Connecticut and Krell has a smoke damage sale, it's fairly unlikely that these conditions can all be met.
If you want something 1 ohm stable that can deliver the goods, you're gonna have to open the pocketbook pretty wide I'm sure.
not 1 ohm capable, but its the best deal ive seen so far
Bash 500W Digital Subwoofer Amplifier
id put it in an outboard box.

Yeah, if you remove 2 and 1 ohm capability, the options open up 10 fold.
