Hi there,
Thanks for making these available.... By chance do you have the article: "Cascode A.F. Amplifier" by L.B. Hedge? It was in W.W. in June of '54 or June of '55 or June of '56. I cant tell you the year as my copy is pretty bad and the date is cut off, but I do know it was in a June issue of one of those years. It is a great circuit for a very high output, low distortion driver stage for power tubes.
Thanks, Daniel

I do indeed. It was June 56. I will put it in the next upload.

I have uploaded some more old Wireless World articles from the 1950s and early 60s to the collection at: The Wireless World Archive

These include:

Phase Shift and Sound Quality: Apr 1956
Inexpensive Variable Slope Filter: Nov 1956
Disc Recording Characteristics: Nov 1956
DC-coupled Transistor Amplifier: May 1958
The Tobey & Dinsdale Transistor Amplifier: Mar 1961

Thank you for this valuable resource.

If you're taking requests, I think the "Free Grid" and "Cathode Ray" columns deserve an audience.

I have that article, but I can't recall where I downloaded it. Let's see if I can attach it. Didn't work, maybe try PMing me for it.

Yeah, that kind of volume would be a herculean task, it'd be nice if those works could be compiled into a pair of books, but I don't know what the demand would be these days.

I would have thought the demand for Free Grid would be very limited as it tends to focus on contemporary issues. It also descends too often into mere pedantry about words. 'Random Radiations' by Diallist would be even less popular.

The Cathode Ray technical articles have a much more lasting appeal; and I have several bookmarked for uploading. The problem is that I have a couple of hundred articles by various authors so marked, and there are only so many hours in the day...
