It's boring here lately. Not much exciting happening. No brawls, no scuffles. Not even any halfway decent build threads happening (other than my own, of course

I've tried to stir things up one or two times but it goes nowhere. Either I've lost my ability to deeply annoy my fellow man or I've somehow acquired a level of respectability! Do I intimidate the potential adversary into just walking away?
If so, that stinks! I may need to join another forum to start over again - no one takes guff from the new guy.

That's the root of the problem - I do some extra special work, devising a deadly incendiary charge, plant it without setting it off and while my frakking back is turned, you or another member of the elite 'MODERATOR' squad defuse it and toss it into the trash!!!

actually I do see more members building amps
tube amp forum have been a bit slow, but seems increasingly active
more focus on practical issues, rather than theoretical ones
also a lot more info on how to get parts etc
there's definately more activity in those areas
with a whole new generation "storming" in, and "us" getting older, things change, ofcourse
well, if you look at half a glas of water, or beer
to some its half full, and to others its half empty

You and eye butted heads shortly after I joined but we kissed, made up and all's well now. I (usually) know when I write something if it will live on or be chucked. Sometimes it can be a little frustrating that 'free speak' doesn't exist here. Sometimes, something needs to be said, just to attempt to stem the tide of BS that some folks spout and when these comments gets deleted, they no longer has their intended effect.
