Heja Sverige!
Have you guys noticed how good the sound is from the rink?
Parabolic mics. Nice aren't they?
Oh ya, we seem to have won. Not to mention a gold and silver from the women's two man bobsleigh.
No score yet Fins and Czechs
I felt a bit sorry for the Russians.
Ya me too...
Oops I just ****** myself
Not to mention a gold and silver from the women's two man bobsleigh.
And silver & bronze in the speed skating. Women's Wed.

Our tub-thumping politico's have finally conceded Canada won't "own the podium".
With any insite one could have said that 4 years ago... takes a long longer than that to develop the talent... lets hope they keep it going, next winter olympics will be the real tell.

Not sure I have the (mental) refresh rate for this kind of excitement. This is something I've actually done when we were in school...We watched CURLING -- Brits vs the Swedes.
Sweden-Slovakia in a few minutes!

Ah, who cares-- as long as we put a great team on the ice!!
Don
Who the hell was saying that...? Obviously they haven't been paying attention to our olympic history.
Great game...., and I didn't shed a tear for the Russians. I truly enjoy watching the Canadian style of play humble Ovechkin. I was slightly disappointed that he didn't crawl off the ice this time.
"own the podium"
I have cringed since I first heard that term. How unCanadian can you get?
So, US-Canada final?
It would be foolish to look past the Solvaks. They played a solid game against the Swedes.

agreed.... Heard it for the first time last night, when watching the ladies two man bobsleigh finals. So although I guess we did in that event, it doesn't seem appropriate. Especially for a nation that likes to consider itself humble.
Did anyone watch Isabelle Delobel? -- some gasped.
Which team does she play for....?
There must be a glich with the Olympic home page, because all I get is when I search the name is some figure skater. Which obviously has nothing to do with hockey.

Really? That was Kathy Priestner's term coined back in '05. She wrote a report about how to be the best. All you have to do is spend money on the boys and girls and voila!
Hmm.. someone forgot the script on the bus.
