Hi. I'm the seller of these fantastic speakers which are now produced by Capilano Audio (formerly hornspearkers).
These are absolutely fabulous speakers, sounding much like stacked pairs of Quad ESL 57s but with all the dynamics, frequency extension and resolution that the famous quads have seemed to lack. The imaging is superb, huge soundstage, mids to die for with exceptional resolution. The bass is measured to down 3 db @ +/- 25 hz which isn't too bad for an OB. The feature is in part due to the 16" scalloped wings we use on the sides of the speakers where the bass drivers are located. They certain help wave launch and cancelation of the standing wave.
The center piece of this system is the Supravox 215 OB field coil full-range driver complimented by the Supravox 400 Exc field coil bass driver (an Altec 515b or 416a on steroids!) and a Fountek 2.0 tweeter, althogh we're now considering the custom Arum Cantus G3N ribbon tweeter.
The response to the Audiogon ad has been really amazing with over 5,000 hits in seven days!
