ADCOM Power Supplies and input circuit boards

Hi Everyone,

I'm terrible at marketing; I'd rather be working at the bench, so I don't think many people even know I exist!

I sell fun DIY power supply and input board kits for ADCOM amplifiers.
My first product was a replacement GFA-565 circuit board, to fix the famous capacitor leakage issue with that model, and it's still my most popular item.

My shop is here.

There is yet another version of the Adcom GFA-555! Turns out, the very first production run of rack-mount GFA-555's had slightly different boards than the later models. I now have boards to accommodate these early 555's.

Also, when you remove the original RCA jacks, you are left with a big oval hole in the chassis. My board kits include a slick solution to this issue; they include an adapter plate and gold-plated RCA jacks.

New Binding Post Kits for the Adcom GFA-535 MK1

Adcom GFA-535 MK1 binding post adapter kit

Finally I've got a solution for those crappy twist-lock speaker connectors on the back of the Adcom GFA-535 MK1. The holes left in the chassis are too large to mount normal binding posts. Most people end up attaching a piece of sheet metal over the holes and drilling new, smaller mounting holes in the sheet metal. That works, but it's tedious. This FR4 adapter plate does exactly this.

Replaces these...

New product!

The Problem:

You want to replace the binding posts in your amplifier, but the holes in the chassis are too large for most binding posts on the market, which are designed to fit chassis cut-outs of 10mm or 11.5mm in diameter.

Two fiberglass plates sandwich the sheet metal, and the binding posts fit into the plates, which are firmly attached with four M3 screws and locknuts. Simple, secure, and easy to install and service.
