If these boards are slightly different it would probably be best to get a new stencil. A maylar/lapton stencil looks like a great alternative to a more expensive metal stencil - Mylar-Kapton SMT Stencils | Prototype PCB assembly | Stencils Unlimited

Thanks Leo for the Starkrimson PCBs. I was able to complete my amps without a stencil. I used an HDMI microscope, though.

The Murata power supplies were making an unpleasant hissing squealing noise, so I swapped them out.

I have had multiple customers report similar issue with the Murata supplies. I will stop recommending them.

How do you like the new supplies which ones are they?

I do like the new supplies. They are silent and power the amp well. They are Recom RACM230-54SG

Just saw this Leo, great review and congratulations! It's a big deal when an industry veteran writer like Dick Olsher gives the component a thumbs up! Like I've said to others, this amp is my Class D reference. Being light weight and transportable is very nice.

You should repackage the amp in 6061 aircraft aluminum and sell it for 3 times the price, ala Jeff Rowland .

Just saw this Leo, great review and congratulations! It's a big deal when an industry veteran writer like Dick Olsher gives the component a thumbs up! Like I've said to others, this amp is my Class D reference. Being light weight and transportable is very nice.

You should repackage the amp in 6061 aircraft aluminum and sell it for 3 times the price, ala Jeff Rowland .
