Not necessary better, but I have considered the layout again and optimised for my requirements... This earlier version had not been manufactured.

I've not used this regulator yet because I've discovered some better ICs for low-current applications (e.g. LT3042). But in my pre-regulator need a Vin>20V capatibility, and as I know this is the only ultra-low noise IC that supports that.
